Sloan Salon

Visual identity and graphics for an event centered around storytelling and technology.

About the project
The Sloan Salon is an annual panel event presented by Film Independent in partnership with the Sloan Foundation. The 2022 edition brought together filmmakers, scientists, and technologists to explore how storytelling shapes our evolving relationship with technology. With a focus on human-centered narratives and scientific integrity, the panel featured prominent voices, including filmmaker Kogonada, AI and arts professor Amelia Winger-Bearskin, neuroscientist Karim Jerbi, and Sloan-supported screenwriters, moderated by acclaimed TV producer Wendy Calhoun. My role as art director and designer was to develop the event’s full visual identity, from initial key art and illustrations through to final execution across digital and physical formats.
